JACK'S TEAM – ING NEW YORK CITY MARATHON

Jack's Team is proud to be a part of the official Charity Program for ING New York City Marathon. This program allows us to provide guaranteed marathon entries to runners who pledge to make a donation or raise funds totaling $2,500 or more to The Jack H Marston II Melanoma Fund. A limited number of "post lottery" guaranteed entries are available. Jack’s Team also welcomes runners who entered through the lottery or otherwise qualified.

  • *2010 hospitality included a free team dinner for runners as well as generous product support from GU Energy Labs and Pearl Izumi. In addition, several team members took advantage of an optional program where luxury bus service to the start was available for $40 per runner. These and other hospitality items are being pursued for 2011.

RUNNER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet or exceed the Fundraising minimum of $2500
  • Payment of race entry fees
  • Arrange and purchase all travel, hotels, transportation
  • Train hard and run a great race

We encourage our runners to set their own goal well above the minimum and strive to do their personal best!

Jack’s Marathon Team attracts athletes of varied experience from all stages of life- some are fighting their own battle with melanoma, some are running in honor of a loved one, all are determined to make a difference.  Their success stems from a unique strength, passion and focus each brings to the team.  Jack’s team currently fields runners for The Bank of America Chicago Marathon, The Boston Marathon and the ING New York City Marathon.
