Little known but highly scenic and well respected Bull Valley, Illinois.
Only 90 minutes from downtown Chicago, but you’ll feel like you are in the middle of Wisconsin: fresh air, peacefulness, hills, more hills.
Runners who are in respectable condition that want to improve their running skills, knowledge & abilities.
This camp is ideal for runners training for the Chicago Marathon, other fall marathons or races, especially on hilly courses.
Friends & spouses of runners are also invited to attend & take part in the non-running portions (Yoga & Pilates classes, seminars, etc), meals, social events & camp fire chats.
Mark Buciak (PB 2:30) has completed 52 career marathons, including 29 consecutive Boston Marathons. No one in the State of Illinois has more Boston experience than Mark. He is a writer for Chicago Athlete Magazine and is program director of THE ROAD TO BOSTON Training Program. Mark promises this will be a very special weekend and that you will love every minute and mile. You will never again think Illinois is flat!
No, we are not camping in tents. Our camp headquarters will be the 83 acre Compass Ridge Conference Center (www.resurrectioncenter.org) just outside of Woodstock, IL. We will be staying in the brand new section. Each room has two double beds, restroom and shower. All rooms are air-condition. You have the option of selecting your roommate or being assigned a fellow runner of the same gender. Private rooms may be available at an addition fee.

Coach Mark's Running Camp has no religious affiliation and is intended for all runners, irrespective of faith or personal beliefs. The running camp will have no religious activities.
